River got her first big owie yesterday. She tripped off a tiny 2 inch cement step and caught herself with her head. I felt so bad, she got two big bumps and a couple of scrapes. She recovered quickly, and was soon back to her smiling self.River was invited to her first birthday party. I'm pretty sure she accepted just for the cupcakes and juice.
I love this next picture because Olivia and River have the same look on their faces. Mainly, "Mom, why are we out here on the wet grass when the party is inside?"
Also, we had our first day over 70 degrees this week! Pretty amazing, eh?
