Sisters

I love these pictures! River was helping me give Sariah tummy time and they were so cute together I had to grab the camera.
River doesn't really know what to think now that Sariah is home. She has needed a little extra attention from us, and she likes to pretend that she is "baby Eden". When Sariah is fussy and has to be swaddled, 'baby Eden' has to be swaddled too. It's really cute actually, and will probably be fine until Cameron has to go back to work. Then I'll be swaddling two crying babies.

River also had to eat from a baby bottle the other day. I think she needed some cuddle time with her Daddy. I'm just glad she is still using the toilet!

Our Last Weekend as a Family of Three (...at least it better be!)

We dyed our eggs early, just in case our little newbie decides to crash Easter next weekend. River's hands (and the kitchen table) were completely blue by the end. We also took River to an egg hunt that was supposed to be outside, but it had to be moved indoors due to snow. River loved the Easter bunny more than all the candy and all the eggs. She kept telling me she had to go potty, just so we could pass by the bunny and wave at him. She was surprised at how big he was...I suppose she thought he'd be a regular sized bunny.

After the egg hunt (and face painting, balloon animals, and bounce yard) Cameron took us across the street for hot cocoa and pancakes at Denny's. It was a nice chance to give River our undivided attention, and I hope she stores some of it up for when she has to share it with her little sister!

Cameron was in Chicago last week attending the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Annual Forum on Healthcare Leadership. While there he attended a Bulls vs. Pistons game and ate deep dish pizza! The first pic is Cameron attending to his storyboard based on the project he has been working on for months. The project is about implementing an electronic tool used by nurses to call patients at home shortly after the patient is discharged. The tool is used to collect pertinent customer service data and generates automated reports for nurse managers. The second pic is Cameron with a few of his networking buddies from Salt Lake City. And of course, pic 3 is Cameron at the Bulls vs. Pistons game. Before he went to the game he was told he would be on the fourth row. He didn't know that it was the fourth row on the upper bowl. But he had an excellent time anyway. Cameron reports that the weather was gorgeous is Chicago. And I had to be home in Buffalo!!

I was a nervous wreck to be 38 wks pregnant and alone for a week, but I kept busy... I cut my hair, made play dates, went to doctor appointments and had dinner with friends. And my friends threw me a baby shower! I got stocked up with diapers, wipes, hair clips, books, clothes, and everything else I could possibly need. It is wonderful to have such supportive friends. Thank you!
